This one by me.

“Becoming a Public Intellectual: The Case of Samuel Johnson, 1734-1772.”

Today at noon
Fulton Brown Bag Series
TETC 156
Salisbury University

In it I’m going to attempt the deft balancing act of talking about Samuel Johnson in a historically responsible way while also branching out to discuss the role of the humanities in a regional comprehensive university. And probably my dean and chair will be there. (Did I mention I apply for tenure in the fall?) Should be interesting, to say the least.

And there’ll be refreshments!
